This month we have created a tag album with various ideas as to how to use acetate.
Left hand side - The Cover - This lettering has been printed on ink jet acetate. Note this has a textured side, if you do not want this side uppermost then remember to flip everything back to front, BEFORE printing. Instead of using brads on their own to attach acetate, punch out a relevant shape and put the brad through the shape before putting it through the acetate (ie gold bow).
Right hand side - Create an apeture and sandwich acetate in the apeture. The design on the acetate is a peel-off and has been coloured on the right side use glaze pens. The Hello has been attached using the peel-off waste.
Left hand side - A black image on clear acetate. Coloured using glitter on the wrong side. Butterfly is a pre-printed silver image - coloured on the wrong side using a STRONG pro-marker colour.
Right Hand side - Pre-printed images cut from a sheet of such images. Going from top to bottom they have been attached by (1) Fancy Photo Corners (2) Pricked and sewn onto a mat (3) Put through a sticker maker.
Left hand side - Clear acetate embossed using an embossing folder and stapled into position. Flower is stamped and embossed on heat resistant acetate. Flower centre was coloured with a promarker and then stuck on white pearlised card and cut out.
Right Hand side - Images stamped on some thin and some thick acetate, using stazon and coloured by wiping stazon pad across wrong side. When dried, they were cut out and then heated using a heat tool, and moulded. Stuck on using glossy accents
